Everest Bank Limited (EBL) is a Kathmandu-based 'A' class commercial bank with its head office at EBL House, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. It was established in 1994 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. EBL is a joint-venture bank, with Punjab National Bank (PNB) of India holding a 20% equity stake and managing the bank. It was the first Nepalese bank to open a representative office in India. The bank serves over 1.4 million customers through a nationwide branch and ATM network.
