Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) is a Nepali hydropower company that owns and operates the 10.7 MW Upper Sanigad Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme located in the Kaphalseri and Pipalkot areas of Bajhang district, Sudurpaschim (Far-Western) Province. The final project cost was reported at about NPR 3,043 million (around NPR 284 million per MW), funded at a debt-equity ratio of roughly 71:29. The company signed a long-term power purchase agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority on 30 June 2013 for 30 years from COD. Against a required COD of 15 December 2021, the project achieved actual commercial operation on 19 August 2023 after construction and geological delays. The company opened its IPO to the public in 2025.
