Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited (TAMOR) is a Nepali hydropower company, part of the Sanima Group, established and incorporated in 2016 as a Special Purpose Vehicle, with its office in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. It developed the 73 MW Middle Tamor Hydropower Project (MTHP), a run-of-river project on the Tamor River in Taplejung district, Koshi Province. The total project cost was revised to around Rs 13,971 million (roughly Rs 191 million per MW). The PPA-required commercial operation date was 17 July 2022 (later extended); the plant commenced generation from 5 May 2024 under a 'contingency evacuation plan' pending NEA's Dhungesangu substation upgrade. The project is expected to generate around 429 GWh annually and sells power to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
