Its flagship operating asset is the 7.5 MW Indrawati III Hydropower Project, a run-of-river plant in Sindhupalchowk district, Bagmati Province, in commercial operation since 1999 under a concession license valid to 2047 A.D.. NHPC also owns the license for the 4.5 MW Lower Indrawati Hydropower Project, a downstream cascade of Indrawati III. The company is a major promoter of the 14.15 MW Lower Erkhuwa Hydropower Project in Bhojpur district, Koshi Province. NHPC is a widely held public company with no promoter group and is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange under the symbol NHPC.
